Triumph is proud to announce a recipient of our Employment Achievement Award - Derek Herrera!

Derek sufrió una lesión en la médula espinal mientras se desempeñaba en Afganistán como oficial de la marina. En 2012, se desplegó en Afganistán y fue baleado y paralizado por el fuego de armas pequeñas del enemigo durante las operaciones de combate. Derek ahora es parapléjico.

Continuó sirviendo a su país como infante de marina hasta 2014, luego obtuvo su maestría en UCLA con un certificado en Emprendimiento.

Derek es ahora el fundador y director de tecnología de Spinal Singularity. Spinal Singularity ha estado desarrollando el catéter conectado, el primer sistema de catéter inteligente completamente interno para hombres adultos con retención urinaria. Esta empresa de dispositivos médicos mejorará enormemente la vida de los pacientes con lesión espinal.

IT WAS RECORD BREAKING!!

Because of your generosity, we had 400 guests and we raised over $100,000! That's more than ever before!! Isn't that incredible?
