Serving those who Served

There are few Americans we owe more to than those Veterans who served our country to protect the freedoms we treasure. At Triumph, we embrace them as our brothers and sisters, and celebrate their service on Veterans Day.

In this month's outreach update we’re exploring several of the Veteran-focused activities Triumph offers.

If you’re a Veteran, we are deeply grateful for your service.  We honor you and your family for preserving our freedom.

With respect,

#TriumphFamilia

P.S. for this upcoming Veterans Day weekend, join us at our Festival de Deportes Adaptativos on Saturday, November 9th where we'll celebrate the heroes who served in the military, and the entire community can play games together enjoying our independence!

Edwards Air Force Base

Triumph had the honor to visit Edwards Air Force Base yesterday to hold a wheelchair sports clinic for the soldiers stationed there. Our team of 10 athletes put the service men & women inside sport wheelchairs and showed them the game of quadrugby (murderball).

Their eyes were opened to people with disabilities and showed them we still have a warrior spirit alive inside us despite the challenges we face. After our clinic, they showed us what life was like on base, by taking us on tour of the Test Pilot School and to see the F-16, B-52, F-15, and the B-2 Bomber.

It was an amazing day that none of us will forget!

Read Edwards Air Force Base's news story and watch the video showcasing our clinic for the soldiers.

ValleyGo! for Veterans

Every month Triumph holds our ValleyGo! events. They're open for everyone, but has a special focus on our Veterans who have disabilities. Coming up in 2020, we have our handcycling & kayaking clinics, PLUS we're adding water skiing! They'll be awesome! Stay tuned for dates and details.

Our next ValleyGo! events are at our Adaptive Sports Festival, and then on Friday, November 22nd at Balboa Park, Van Nuys.

Special Place in our Hearts for Vets

Of all the people that we serve, we really have a special place in our hearts for the men and women that serve in our military.

Every month we're involved with the SCI support group at the Long Beach VA, delivering our Care Packs to wounded warriors, we represented at the VA Adaptive Sports Expo, and participated in the Veteran Fraternity Sigma Tau Alpha's 5K.

If you're a Veteran that needs help, we are here for you.

Gracias

All of our outreach is only possible because of the generosity of people like you.

Will you give to help Triumph Foundation serve Veterans?

No puedo agradecerles lo suficiente por su confianza en nuestra misión.

Si usted o alguien que conoce necesita nuestra ayuda, comuníquese con nosotros.
