Outreach and peer support is provided throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, Riverside, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.<\/p>\n<p>Founded in 2008, the organization has touched the lives of over 8,000 individuals with disabilities, provided $1 million in assistance to people with inadequate medical insurance and financial hardship, hosts more than twenty adaptive recreation events annually, delivered over 2,000 Care Baskets to people that suffered paralyzing injuries, and regularly visits dozens of hospitals and rehabilitation centers throughout Southern California.
