Octavio<\/a> is one of those kids who gives you energy just being in the same room. Ready with a smile and quick with a joke, this 13-year-old loves to have fun.<\/p>\n

Back in May of 2021, Octavio took an unfortunate fall from a bounce house at a family party. The fall resulted in an incomplete spinal cord injury to his T9 vertebrae. After surgery\u00a0and months of physical therapy at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, we're celebrating that he has regained strength in his legs and is now walking short distances with a walker. But he still needed a wheelchair.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n\n\t
