\"\"Independence means everything!<\/h2>\n

At just 11 years old, Ava\u2014an energetic dancer with a rare spinal cord disorder\u2014faced a life-altering rupture of an arteriovenous malformation (AVM) at the C5 level. The injury left her paralyzed from the shoulders down.<\/p>\n

After surgery and weeks of inpatient rehab, Ava was ready to return home and keep working toward recovery. But the wheelchair provided through insurance wasn\u2019t just too big\u2014it was enormous. It limited her ability to transfer safely, move comfortably, and maintain the independence she was so determined to hold onto.<\/p>\n

Because of the Triumph Family<\/strong>, Ava received a properly fitted wheelchair through our Wheelchair Loaner Program<\/strong>\u2014giving her the freedom to keep dancing through life in her own way.<\/p>\n
