The Holiday Season is fast approaching and has us feeling extra grateful for YOU<\/strong> - and our community that shows up with hearts wide open to help others.<\/p>\n

Our Triumph Family stays close through life's ups-and-downs, offering hope, encouragement, and meaningful connections.<\/p>\n

As you get ready for Thanksgiving, GivingTuesday<\/a>, and the Christmas season - we want you to meet Scoba.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He's a Navy veteran, paraplegic, and one of our first Care Pack recipients - who is now an active community member and new peer-mentor for Triumph, who is living his life to his fullest ability, and turning around to give back<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

We hope his story reminds you this season that even in times of struggle, life isn\u2019t over - it\u2019s often just beginning, especially when we choose to serve others.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

A Veteran's Story of Giving Back<\/h2>\n

In 2009, a life-changing surgery left Scoba facing paralysis not knowing what comes next.<\/p>\n

During the early stages of his recovery, he met Triumph and was given a Care Pack that provided answers to questions he didn't even know he had yet.<\/p>\n

He stayed connected and engaged; and felt a calling<\/strong> to serve others the same way he was once helped.<\/p>\n

Today, Scoba is one of Triumph's newest Ambassadors with a mission to help others achieve their goals after injury. He works with Paralyzed Veterans of America, helps lead our SCI Support Group at the Long Beach VA,<\/strong> and\u00a0delivering Care Packs to new spinal cord injury patients.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
