NEW Northridge Women's SCI Group\u00a0<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Triumph Foundation is starting a monthly meeting for Women with Spinal Cord Injury.\u00a0This group will allow participants to network, share ideas, information, and experiences.<\/p>\n

Join us for our first meeting and help us develop this new forum on\u00a0Wednesday September 20th. We'll be meeting at C.O.R.E. located at 9631 Reseda Blvd, Northridge CA 91324.<\/p>\n

Triumph Return to Work Award<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Triumph Foundation has received an endowment of $5,000 from the family of Bill Hollman to be awarded for the purpose of helping a person with a SCI\/D to return to work by obtaining a job or pursuing entrepreneurial venture.<\/p>\n

Saturday, October 21, 2017 Triumph Foundation is holding our Over-the-Line Wheelchair Baseball Tournament\u00a0<\/a>at the Barry A. Sanders Sports Field at Lake Balboa in Van Nuys, CA.<\/p>\n

Over-the-Line is a modified baseball game,\u00a0check out this video<\/a> to see how it's played!<\/p>\n

No equipment or experience necessary. Play in your own wheelchair.<\/p>\n

Rancho Spinal Injury Games<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

Saturday, September 30th from 10am-2pm at Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in the front parking lot.<\/p>\n

The annual\u00a0Spinal Injury Games\u00a0are designed for the beginning or wheelchair sports enthusiast. They provide an excellent opportunity for participants to experience a variety of wheelchair sports.\u00a0To register\u00a0CLICK HERE<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Triumph is partnering with the Paralyzed Veterans of America to ride in marathon the weekend of October 6-8, 2017.<\/p>\n

DisAbility Sports Festival<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/strong><\/h2>\n

The 11th annual\u00a0DisAbility Sports Festival<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is on Saturday October 7, 2017 at California State University, San Bernardino.<\/p>\n

The FREE event features over 20 adapted sports including basketball, archery, kayaking, tennis, golf, soccer, resource fair, and more.<\/p>\n

Triumph will be running their quad rugby clinic from 9 AM to 12 PM inside the main gymnasium. Anyone can participate, all you have to do is sign up.<\/p>\n

Skydiving<\/strong>- October 4, 2017. Experience the ultimate adrenaline rush! Jump from 12,500ft and freefall for nearly a minute at speeds of up to 120mph!<\/p>\n

Surfing<\/strong>\u00a0- October 10, 2017.\u00a0 Join Casa Colina and\u00a0Surf's up! Team up with premier surf shop, ZJ Boarding House of Santa Monica, along with their top instructors as we present a thrilling day of surfing.<\/p>\n

Therapeutic Horseback Riding\u00a0<\/strong>- October 13 & 27, and November 3 & 17, and December 8 & 15, 2017. Enjoy and relax while riding a horse\u00a0and developing muscle tone, coordination, and confidence.<\/p>\n

Angel Flight\u00a0<\/strong>- November 18, 2017. Experience the pleasure of flying in a small plan. Enjoy the views from above as we fly into the Airport in the Sky on Catalina Island!<\/p>\n

Sailing<\/strong>\u00a0- November 28, 2017.\u00a0 Join Casa Colina and the U.S. Sailing Center for a hands-on sailing experience! Learn the basics of sailing in Los Alamitos Bay.<\/p>\n

Recreation Access Motivating People (RAMP) Handcycling conducts FREE hand cycling clinics in the\u00a0Huntington Beach area on the 2nd Saturday of each\u00a0month from 10:00am - 1:00pm. They have a variety of handcycles and adaptive cycles for you to use. \u00a0Cyclists of all abilities are welcome to join.<\/p>\n
