I have multiple sclerosis and paid $12,000 for a chairlift to be installed on my home five years ago, it is still in good working condition and I would like it to go to someone who needs it. Please let me know if you are interested in having a chairlift in your home. Look at the pictures and video to see if it might work for your staircase. it appears that it can be disassembled to work for a straight staircase.
