Superheroes Triumph! Virtual Run Series
Beginning NOW until October 31, 2020

WHAT: The 4th annual Superheroes Triumph 5K is a run, walk, and roll for people of all abilities – able-body and disability alike. Due to COVID-19, we are taking it VIRTUAL and offering more distance options – 5K, 10K, and 10-Miles. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds go directly to Triumph Foundation in supporting many of its pillars of programming and outreach.

WHO: Triumph Foundation—a nonprofit organization working to improve the lives of children, adults, and Veterans who suffer catastrophic accidents and/or live with a disability.

WHEN: Beginning now until October 31, 2020

WHERE: This is a virtual opportunity where anyone can participate from the comfort and safety of their very own home or neighborhood.

About Triumph Foundation:

Triumph Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help children, adults, & Veterans with spinal cord injury and paralyzing disorders to triumph over their disability and to inspire them to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing themselves to get better every day. Triumph provides critical assistance services to people that become paralyzed through its Newly Injured Support, Grants & Equipment, and Adaptive Recreation programs.

Founded in 2008, the organization has touched the lives of over 8,000 individuals affected by disability, provided $500,000 in assistance to people with inadequate medical insurance and financial hardship, delivered over 2,000 care packages to people that suffered paralyzing injuries, holds over 20 annual adaptive recreational events to support athletes with disabilities, performed dozens of home and bathroom remodels for accessibility, donated ten adapted vehicles to people who did not have the means to purchase one on their own, and regularly visits 18 hospitals and rehabilitation centers throughout Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Bernardino, and San Diego Counties.

Among many accolades, in 2018 Triumph Foundation was chosen as California’s Nonprofit of the Year by Cal Nonprofits.
