June 22, 2020 News, Noteworthy, SCINormally this time of year we share a calendar with all our live events. But as we all know, COVID-19 has changed everything.
We're still hopeful we'll be back to putting on community activities later this year. As soon as we get the green-light, we'll get going again!
But for now, one of the good things about us being locked-down is we are bringing our support groups and events to your living room!

Weekly SCI Life Series Support Groups
Our Life Series groups are meeting every week and having open discussions about living with spinal cord injury.

Women's Mental Health Webinar
The Reeves Foundation is hosting a "Women's Mental Health After Paralysis" on Thursday, June 25th at 3:00 PM (EST).
This webinar will address the impact that spinal cord injury or the onset of paralysis can have on a woman's mental health, including the occurrence of depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and loneliness.
The webinar’s presenters will also discuss ways to improve and maintain mental health by exploring how to practice self-care, enhance self-esteem, combat negative thoughts, and foster strong, healthy social connections.
