Making Quality of Life a Reality

Your support helps Triumph Foundation make quality of life a reality for people who have become paralyzed. We offer critical support services to help people rebuild their life and achieve independence. See some of the lives you've impacted:

One evening Sherry was walking down the staircase in her home and slipped and fell. She injured her neck suffering a C6-7 spinal cord injury. We met her at Palmdale Regional Hospital and brought her a Care Backpack. When it was time for her to be discharged home, Triumph built a ramp to give her access into the front door of the house. We are praying for her recovery and for her family as they adjust.

Richard suffered a diabetic coma that affected his spinal cord. He was sent to a nursing home left to waste away. While there he developed a bad pressure sore that became infected. This turned out to be a blessing because they transferred him to Northridge Hospital where he started rehab, met Triumph, and regained enough strength to go home.

We met Sebastian in 2014 at Rancho Los Amigos Hospital after he suffered a spinal cord injury becoming a paraplegic. He is a single father going to school full time. His car needed repairs and Triumph helped him get parts for a new transmission. As a mechanic by trade he was able to fix his car and get back on the road, pursuing his dreams.

Opportunity Knocking

Opportunity is knocking for people with SCI to pursue their vocational dreams.

Triumph is launching our Return to Work Award to give $5,000 to someone within the paralysis community to help them with employment.

We want to be a job creator, helping people put their talents to work so we can see them off government assistance and back contributing to the community.

To apply, submit an essay describing how the funds would enable you to obtain employment, achieve more success at your job, or start an entrepreneurial venture.

You're investing in people, helping them triumph after radical life-changing accidents, getting them back into the community, and for those who are able, returning them to the workforce. This investment yields the highest return rate, moving people beyond disability to become productive members of society.

With your support, we are providing a full spectrum of care and making quality of life a reality for people that suffer spinal cord injury.
