As you can imagine, spending the holidays in the hospital after a spinal cord injury is especially difficult.
In December, Triumph's programs shift into high gear. We visit hospitals and rehabilitation centers across Southern California to deliver Care Backpacks filled with helpful resources to newly injured individuals, host celebrations, and share messages of hope. We’re joined by hundreds from the SCI community to celebrate life after injury.
Triumph’s peer-mentor “Ambassadors” offer guidance and support to those spending the holidays coping with a recent injury, helping individuals and families adjust to their new reality. Along with valuable resources, the Care Backpacks include gifts and treats to lift the spirits of those in the hospital.
