Apple Valley Gun Club – Adaptive Shooting

Andrew Skinner April 20, 2021 News, Noteworthy, SCI, Upcoming Events

Apple Valley Gun Club launched a firearms training and shooting clinic for people with disabilities. Triumph partnered with them to hold special clinics.

Adaptive shooters learned about gun safety, self-defense, and the sport of target shooting.

Our next Adaptive Shooting program is June 13th at 5PM Only $30. You DO NOT need to be a member of AVGC to participate. They provide all the firearms, ammunition, and eye & ear protection. They even provide a light dinner. Regardless of your physical limitations you will have the opportunity to shoot a variety of firearms while using adaptive equipment and techniques as needed. The focus is not on any disability, but on the abilities. This event was created for people who have experienced spinal cord injury/disorder, amputee/limb-loss, and mobility impairments, providing the opportunity to enjoy the shooting sports with a certified Instructor at their side.

Come join us for a safe and fun experience.

Limited to the first 12 participants who register.
