We Made Waves!

Imagine spending a summer day by the ocean, trying a new adaptive sport, meeting incredible people, and discovering what's possible after paralysis.

That's exactly what our Beachside Blast in Oceanside delivered.

In June, Triumph hosted our 2nd Annual Beachside Blast, welcoming 214 athletes, family, friends, volunteers, and community partners for a day of fun in the sun.

Together with Roll to Success, Spinal Network, Dynamic Inclusive Dance, and San Diego Power Soccer, we created a welcoming space where people of all abilities could play, learn, and build confidence.

The biggest victories were what happened between the games.

It was the first-time participant discovering what they're capable of and realizing "I can do this." It was families finding valuable information in our Resource Fair and meeting others who understand their journey. It was the collective crowd sharing advice and proving that life with a disability can still be full of adventure, friendship, and possibility.

A day like this doesn't happen without an incredible community behind it. ย Thank you to our generous sponsors, including Adapt Functional Movement, Collage Rehab Partners, and Learning Centers, and to our amazing volunteers and coaches who made this day possible.

Beachside Blast is just one stop on Triumph's journey across Southern California.ย

Over the past several months, we've also brought adaptive sports all over the region.

We held events with the Long Beach VA Adaptive Sports Expo, the Playmakers Adaptive Sports Fair, the Angel City Games, the Casa Colina Beat the Heat, OTL Baseball Games in Buellton & Van Nuys, and more.

From the Central Coast to San Diego, Triumph Foundation is committed to bringing opportunities for connection, education, and recreation to wherever you call home.

We hope to see you at our next event!

"The momentum weโ€™ve built serving the paralysis community doesnโ€™t stop. It canโ€™t. It pushes us to achieve new things each and every day, and motivate others to embark on their own journey of recovery and restoration."
