We had a BLAST!
Our inaugural Beachside Blast Adaptive Sports Day in Oceanside was packed full of fun, sports, and community.
We brought together 219 athletes, families, and supporters to play wheelchair basketball, rugby, power soccer and dance.
Laughter, cheers, and determination filled the arena as participants of all ages and abilities showed what it means to push limits and redefine what's possible.
We’re so grateful to our partners Roll to Success, San Diego Power Soccer, Spinal Network, and Oceanside City Parks & Rec; and to every volunteer and supporter who made this first-year event such a success.
We created a space where friendships were built, connections were made, and the community became stronger than ever.

In every smile, every cheer, and every play on the court, momentum was the name of the game. This is what triumph looks like!
Thank you for making Beachside Blast, and every Triumph event, such a powerful reminder of what’s possible when we're all in this together.
Keep moving forward..
P.S. The momentum didn’t stop there. Our Superheroes 5K last Saturday was another amazing celebration! From capes and costumes, to every barrier vanquished, it reminded us that no matter your ability, everyone can be a hero. Stay tuned for an update coming soon.
Pushing Forward: How a Wheelchair is Helping a Single Mom Reclaim Her Independence
Sara was always the one helping others - navigating life as a single mother, working long shifts as a nurse, always on her feet, always in motion. But everything changed in an instant when she had a patient fall on top of her during a transfer, crushing her spine and leaving her with a spinal cord injury.
In the blink of an eye, her world was turned upside down.
Now living with paraplegia, she's still giving it her all - but facing enormous new challenges. The injury didn’t just take away her physical mobility, it shook her sense of safety, stole parts of her independence, and made everyday life far more difficult.
Her dream is simple but powerful: to parent her child, care for herself, and return to the active life she once led this time, just on wheels.
We met her at our Beachside Blast in San Diego and learned of her struggles – and her goals!
This is where the strength of the Triumph Family shines.
We leapt into action, and through Triumph’s Wheelchair Loaner Program, we provided a lightweight, comfortable wheelchair that helps her move more freely, safely, and with confidence. It's more than a chair - it’s a bridge back to the independence she’s working so hard to rebuild.
Because of your support, her healing journey continues with dignity, strength, and momentum. Watch below!

"The momentum we’ve built serving the paralysis community doesn’t stop. It can’t. It pushes us to achieve new things each and every day, and motivate others to embark on their own journey of recovery and restoration."
