Driven to Serve – Lesly’s Momentum Story

Andrew Skinner December 26, 2023 News, Noteworthy, SCI, Triumph Outreach Update

One final story of momentum for 2023...

We didn't want the holidays to go by without sharing one more story of momentum with you.

Lesly was paralyzed by gun shot wounds, an innocent, young victim of random street violence. But she never allowed her injury to define her.

Clinging to her family, faith and an innate determination to help others, Lesly has recovered and built such momentum that we couldn't help but come alongside her to help.

Watch the video to see how Triumph's Circle of Care programs are giving Lesly a new opportunity for mobility and independence to support her charitable work to help others.

Watch til the end to see her share the good news of a Keep Moving Forward Grant with her parents - a Christmas gift they didn't see coming.

Happy New Year,

PS - We're at the end of the year when your donations are most needed. Keep your eyes open for an important email from me tomorrow. Please consider donating to help Triumph do even more in 2024.

"The momentum we’ve built serving the paralysis community doesn’t stop. It can’t. It pushes us to achieve new things each and every day, and motivate others to embark on their own journey of recovery and restoration."
