Alfonso’s life changed in an instant when an act of violence left him paralyzed. Suddenly, every part of his day depended on one critical tool: his wheelchair. It wasn’t just about mobility—it was about staying active, getting to the gym, and participating fully in daily life. 

But over time, his old chair began to fail him. Without reliable equipment, his independence began to slip away. 

Thanks to the strength of our Triumph Family, Alfonso received a brand-new wheelchair through the Keep Moving Forward Grant—bringing back his freedom to move and reclaim the daily routine that gives his life momentum and meaning. His new wheelchair is more than just equipment. It’s a reminder that hope, progress, and community are all within reach.
