There’s nowhere you can’t go! New Year. New hope.

It's easy to be depressed about what you can't do or where you can't go. But the truth is, your disability is often a bridge to something more.

Are you ever discouraged by your limitations? Believe me, there are plenty of times when I feel it's way too hard to keep pushing forward. I can be downright surly. Ask my wife! But just because I feel like "I can't" doesn't mean it's true.

One of my favorite holiday gifts each year is the gift of a brand new year! A new year reminds me that, no matter how discouraged I feel, no matter the obstacles ahead of me, there's nowhere I can't go. There's always a bridge that leads beyond each challenge. It is such an awesome thing to know that I've got a new year, a new day, and a new moment to make the most of despite my disability.

I don't know what 2019 holds for you, but I do know it will include both lows and highs. When you encounter the lows, I want to encourage you to look beyond whatever roadblocks you encounter and recognize that your path continues forward. There's nowhere you can't go.

May God bless you in 2019,

Andrew
