Nitra’s Achievement
March 26, 2023 News, Triumph Outreach Update, Videos
We love sharing stories of momentum - stories where one person has pushed through and overcome their obstacles, only to gain courage, capacity, and confidence for the road ahead!
Despite facing a mountain of challenges every day since being injured in street violence, she's learned to live life to the fullest despite her paralysis.
Through the relationships she's built through Triumph Foundation, she's found a new community where she feels included and inspired. We were so stoked to award Nitra with our Employment Achievement Award, which helped her start her own notary public business. She was over the moon when she found out, and we were so proud to see her smile.
We know that our supporters like you have played a crucial role in helping us support people like Nitra, and we want to take a moment to say thank you.
Your generosity has allowed us to help individuals like Nitra achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives after a traumatic injury. We invite you to watch Nitra's incredible journey and see for yourself the impact that Triumph Foundation has on the lives of those affected by spinal cord injury. Thank you for being part of our community and helping us create a world where people with disabilities can thrive.
Employment Achievement Award - Now Accepting Applications

Triumph Foundation's Employment Assistance Program helps people with spinal cord injury obtain and retain employment and maximize their ability to live independently. Triumph provides funds to assist with efforts to return to work or gain career advancement through our Employment Achievement Award.
We are now accepting applications from people with SCI to start a business, acquire licenses or equipment to achieve more success at work, and become gainfully employed.

"The momentum we’ve built serving the paralysis community doesn’t stop. It can’t. It pushes us to achieve new things each and every day, and motivate others to embark on their own journey of recovery and restoration."
- Andrew Skinner
