Stories of Resilience
Chris Is Driving Toward Fatherhood, Work, and Independence

Chrisโ life changed when a car accident left him a C7 quadriplegic. His accident was a setback, but he never let his injury define him. He is a devoted father, youth basketball coach, realtor, and works hard to stay an active member of his community despite the daily challenges of limited mobility.
In order to be this active in the community he needed a vehicle thatโs equipped with adaptive hand controls. Relying on others for transportation limited his ability to fully participate in work, coaching, and fatherhood - from school drop-offs to weekend outings.
But YOU changed that.
Thanks to your support, Chris received a grant for the hand controls he needed to be on the road. Now he can fully engage in his career, his passions, and most importantly, his role as a dad.
Your generosity fuels real freedom. Whether itโs returning to work or taking the kids to practice, you help people like Chris make everyday triumphs possible.

Strength in Motion: How YOU Helped Lloyd Take His Health to the Next Level

Before his spinal cord injury in 2008, Lloyd Mosley lived a life full of sports and activity. Everything took a radical change after a diving accident left him paralyzed from the chest down.ย Ever since, staying active has been a challenge. Between work, family, and life as a quadriplegic, carving out consistent time to exercise became nearly impossible.
Lloyd tried to make do with resistance bands, but he needed more. His health and independence depended on it.
With your support, Lloyd received an Upper-Tone exercise machine through Triumphโs Keep Moving Forward Grant program. This multi-use exercise equipment will strengthen his body and help him maintain the mobility and stamina he needs to care for himself.
Lloyd is now investing in his health and building a stronger, more empowered future.
Your kindness keeps people like Lloyd moving forward. One workout, one goal, one triumph at a time.

A Priceless Gift: How Michael Found Joy, Purpose and a Deeper Bond with His Son

Michael is a father, a fighter, and a man who once found joy in lifeโs simple pleasures, especially video games. Gaming wasnโt just a hobby for him; it was a way to unwind, stay sharp, and connect with others, especially his son.
But in April 2022, Michael's life changed in an instant when he sustained a spinal cord injury leaving him a quadriplegic. Confined to bed for the past three years, he faced relentless physical pain, loss of independence, and the emotional weight of needing help with nearly every task. The isolation was deep. He missed the freedom of moving through life on his own terms and the joyful connection he once had with his son through games they used to love.
Thatโs when the Triumph Family showed up.
Michael received a QuadStick, an adaptive gaming device that gives people with limited mobility the ability to control video games using a mouthpiece. For Michael, it did more than just offer a fun escape. It reignited a sense of purpose and helped rebuild the bond with his son through something theyโve always loved sharing.
โThis is a priceless gift,โ he shared. โI never thought Iโd be able to play with my son again.โ
Now, heโs smiling more, learning new skills, and reconnecting.
Your support brings hope, healing, and joy to families like Michaelโs. Thank you for redefining what's possible.
Triumphโs Keep Moving Forward Grants are more than just fundingย โ theyโre a lifeline of hope, helping people build momentumย and start living life again.
