We came. We Played. We Triumphed! WSF Recap
June 18, 2025 News, Noteworthy, SCIThe 12th Annual Wheelchair Sports Festival was unforgettable!
Despite a little rain, momentum never slowed—and the energy at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex was electric all weekend long.
Over 800 people—of all ages and abilities—came together to explore adaptive sports, build friendships, and experience the joy of movement.
Whether it was scoring goals in wheelchair rugby and hockey, making swishes in basketball, hitting for the fences in Over-the-Line baseball, dropping in on the skate park, or unleashing creativity in the drum circle and art workshop, the festival was packed with moments that inspired and uplifted.
We watched athletes overcome challenges, families discover new ways to play together, and a powerful sense of community take shape across the courts, fields, and trails. The smiles were wide, the energy was lit, and the Triumph spirit was on full display.
This event wasn’t just about sports—it was about hope, health, and connection. It reminded us all that when you remove barriers, everyone can thrive.
