Thanksgiving is next week, and it's a time for reflection - Triumph is absolutely blessed to have your faithful friendship and support.
There are many lives that have been impacted by you and our Triumph Family this year. Below is a special story of Suhrab highlighted giving his heartfelt thanks to you.
We hope it will brighten your day, remind you of your blessings, and show you why your support of Triumph is so meaningful.
Stay tuned for details on our Christmas Outreach.
May God bless you this holiday season!
Meet Suhrab
When he was a five-year-old boy living in Afghanistan, Suhrab suffered injuries in an explosion that left him paralyzed. There was little help for him in his home country. And as a refugee in Pakistan, he often didn't even have a wheelchair.
Few can comprehend the challenges of navigating life crawling from one place to another.
Through a sponsored program, he came to the United States to undergo extensive surgeries, and receive crucial support for his recovery.
Perhaps just as tragic, for 16 years Suhrab was unaware that there were others facing similar challenges. He didn't know that a community existed of people with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities who share a sense of valuing others and providing mutual support through encouragement, support groups, and practical needs.
When he discovered Triumph it was world changing for him.
We're excited to introduce our good friend Suhrab, one of Triumph's amazing peer mentors. Please watch the video and be inspired, just as I am, by his determination to live life fully and help others, regardless of their circumstances.
