There are key moments in every paralysis story when the devastation of a spinal cord injury gives way to determination and hope for the future.
For Russ, that moment came when he realized he was wired for speed. And even though he had sustained a catastrophic spinal cord injury, he knew there was life after injury. Therefore he would do everything in his power to keep moving forward and get back to the one activity he loves most... racing!
