Strengthening Peer Support: Ambassador Conference Recap
marzo 16, 2026 News, NoteworthyInside Triumph Foundationโs Annual Ambassador Conference
Each year, we host an Ambassador Conference, bringing together our network of peer mentors from across Southern California for a day of learning, collaboration, and connection.
The Ambassador Program is made up of 80 professionally trained peer mentors who work with 22 hospitals to support individuals newly facing spinal cord injury or disorder. Through hospital visits, Ambassadors make personal connections with patients and deliver Care Backpacks filled with valuable resources, educational materials, and information about services, equipment, assistance programs, and activities that can help people navigate life after injury.
The annual conference is an opportunity for Ambassadors to sharpen their mentoring skills, learn from experts, share personal experiences, and strengthen the support they provide to the spinal cord injury community. Workshops and discussions focus on improving communication, understanding new resources, and continuing to grow as effective peer mentors.
Beyond the training, the conference is also a powerful reminder of the community that exists within Triumph Foundation. Ambassadors connect with others who share the same mission: helping individuals with spinal cord injuries achieve the best possible health outcomes and maximize their quality of life.
Watch the video below for a behind-the-scenes look at our Ambassador Conference. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication of our Ambassadors. Their willingness to share their time, experience, and encouragement makes a meaningful difference in the lives of so many people each year.
