Rolling Toward Victory: SoCal Para-Athletes Shine on the National Stage

Andrew Skinner septiembre 24, 2025 News, Noteworthy

This past season, two of our Southern California wheelchair basketball teams—the LA HotWheels and Rancho Halos D3—earned their spot to compete at the NWBA National Championship Tournament in Richmond, Virginia. Thanks to the unwavering support of the Triumph Family, we were able to help both teams make that journey a reality.

The LA HotWheels, a team with over two decades of history, continues to use wheelchair basketball as a powerful tool for rehabilitation and connection. The Rancho Halos D3, made up of 12 dedicated athletes, trains weekly and brings together players with a wide range of experience.

Both teams did an outstanding job representing the Southern California adaptive sports community. Their dedication, skill, and sportsmanship inspired everyone in the arena and reminded us that when opportunity meets support, incredible things happen.

YOU made this possible. Your belief in Triumph Foundation’s mission fuels programs that empower individuals and teams to push boundaries and rise to new levels—on and off the court.

Let’s keep the momentum going.
