Empowered at Home: How YOU Helped Jose Take the First Step Toward Earning Again 

On January 6, 2024, Jose’s life changed forever when he was hit by a vehicle right in front of his home. The accident left him with a C4 complete spinal cord injury—paralyzing his body and turning his family’s world upside down. As the sole provider, Jose was devastated not just by the injury, but by the burden it placed on his wife, who now works extra hours to keep their household afloat. 

Determined to contribute again, Jose set a goal: find work he can do from home using assistive technology. But he lacked one essential tool—a laptop. 

That’s when you stepped in. 

Thanks to your generous support, Triumph’s Keep Moving Forward Grant got Jose the laptop he needs! 

 He is now applying for jobs and building a new path forward. It's more than a piece of technology—it’s a chance to support his family, regain purpose, and feel independent again.
